Tyler is an undergraduate researcher at Brigham Young University. He has previously done work on QRNG and QKD systems at Oak Ridge National Labs. His current research interests include color center memories, quantum networking, quantum frequency conversion, and on chip quantum photonics. He is currently collaborating with the PhoQuS group at UMD doing experimental work with SiV centers.
Outside of research, he enjoys hikes, playing the cello, and building robots.
