Conall graduated with a 1st class MSci in Applied Mathematics and Physics in 2022 from Queen’s University Belfast, and recently graduated in December 2025 with a PhD in Physics from Queen’s University Belfast under the Supervision of Professor Mauro Paternostro. Conall is a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Maryland and his research focuses on quantum networks, specifically conducting theoretical research on fault-tolerant quantum repeater and network architectures.
